How are your drink mixes made?
All of our mixes are made using a combination of whole, fresh ingredients with top quality dried ingredients. All fruit juice is freshly squeezed from whole lemons, limes and grapefruits. We use premium dried lavender, elderflower, and cinchona bark. We use whole ginger and vanilla beans, fresh mint and lemongrass, whole raspberries, blackberries, and black currants. We don't use artificial flavours. We believe nothing taste better than the actual fruit. We start with all these fresh ingredients and add either cane or beet sugar and let the flavours macerate and steep.
Do your cordials contain a lot of sugar?
No, all of our mixes are made with either cane or beet sugar. No corn syrup, fructose or any kind of artificial sweetener. Most of our mixes only contain 5g of sugar or less per serving.
What is tonic made from?
The main ingredient in tonic is chinchona bark, used by British sailors in the 17th Century to help prevent malaria. The sailors would mix the bark with their gin ration, lime and sugar to make it's bitterness more palatable. And so the classic Gin and Tonic was born!
